THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAIN WITH LOCALIZED FLOODING OR FLASH FLOODING ARE
POSSIBLE. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE CENTRAL AND
EASTERN OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AS WELL AS THE EASTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE.
SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BE STRONG WITH HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS...BUT
SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS
IN EFFECT FOR THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AND THE
EASTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE THROUGH MONDAY. A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
ARE POSSIBLE WITH SMALL HAIL AND WIND GUSTS NEAR 50 MPH...THOUGH
WIDESPREAD SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED. CONTINUED RAIN
MAY ALSO LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING OR FLASH FLOODING THROUGH MONDAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS...
  INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN OKLAHOMA...BEAVER AND
  TEXAS. IN TEXAS...ARMSTRONG...CARSON...COLLINGSWORTH...
  DONLEY...GRAY...HANSFORD...HEMPHILL...HUTCHINSON...LIPSCOMB...
  OCHILTREE...ROBERTS AND WHEELER.

* THROUGH MONDAY EVENING

* HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN
  OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AND THE EASTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE THROUGH TONIGHT.

* FLASH FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE IN LOW SPOTS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS
  AND IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
