Severe Weather Across the Northern Tier of the Country; Heat Builds Across the Center of the Nation

A frontal boundary will focus the threat for showers and thunderstorms, some severe, across the northern tier of the country through Tuesday. Meanwhile, dangerous heat will expand across the center of the nation through at least the middle of the week.
