Winter Storm to Bring Harzardous Travel from the Plains to the Northeast through this Weekend
A sprawling winter storm will create hazardous travel conditions from the Plains into the Northeastern U.S. through this weekend. Areas of moderate to heavy snow are forecast over much of the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes, and the interior Northeast and northern New England. Saturday Night: Freezing rain, possibly mixed with rain before 7pm, then a chance of rain between 7pm and 1am. Low around 31. Southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected.
