Tracking a Couple of Storm Systems Across the Country

Showers, along with a few strong to severe thunderstorms, are expected from the Great Lakes, New England and southward into the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys. This Afternoon: Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots. Partly sunny. Waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 3 feet. Waves occasionally around 7 feet.

Tonight: North winds 10 knots or less becoming northeast 10 to 15 knots. A chance of rain in the evening, then rain overnight. Waves 2 feet or less.

Sunday: Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Rain. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.

Sunday Night: North winds 15 to 25 knots becoming northwest. Rain in the evening, then rain and snow overnight. Waves 4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.

Monday: Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. Rain and snow showers during the day, then snow showers monday night. Waves 3 to 5 feet building to 5 to 8 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.

Tuesday: West winds to 30 knots becoming southwest. Snow and rain showers. Waves 8 to 11 feet building to 10 to 14 feet, then subsiding to 7 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.

Wednesday: Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west to 30 knots. Rain showers. Waves 4 to 7 feet building to 10 to 13 feet. Waves occasionally around 16 feet.
