Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across parts of the Southern Plains into the Lower Mississippi Valley and Gulf Coast Friday afternoon and evening. Large hail and severe wind gusts are the primary threats. Additional storms are expected in the Central High Plains and the Mid-Mississippi Valley Friday.
