A Couple of Fast Moving Storms Affecting Areas Along and East of the Rockies

A couple of storm systems will impact travel conditions through the first half of this weekend. Heavy snow from the mountains of the West will move into the upper Midwest and upper Great Lakes through tonight. Record warmth and Gulf moisture along and east of the Mississippi River will fuel severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, fog for the Tennessee Valley and deep South on Friday into Saturday.
