Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Concerns in the Southwest; Coastal Low to Impact the East Coast

Deep tropical moisture will lead to widespread showers and thunderstorms capable of producing flash flooding through early next week over the Southwest and Four Corners. Tonight: West wind 5 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 25 knots in the late evening and early morning, then becoming 10 to 20 knots early in the morning. Partly cloudy through around midnight then becoming clear. Waves 1 to 2 feet building to 3 to 4 feet in the late evening and overnight.

Saturday: North wind 10 to 15 knots veering northeast late in the afternoon. Chance of showers in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 4 feet.

Saturday Night: Northeast wind 10 to 15 knots veering southeast early in the morning. Slight chance of showers through around midnight. Waves 3 to 4 feet.

Sunday: Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots rising to 15 to 20 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Mostly sunny. Waves 3 to 4 feet.
