Early season heat and record high temperatures are expected in parts of Texas, the lower Mississippi Valley, Southeast, Ohio Valley, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast this weekend. Heat advisories are in effect from New England to the Mid-Atlantic. Elsewhere, snow will linger over parts of the Colorado Rockies into this evening.
