



Tropical System in the Gulf of Mexico; Excessive Rainfall and Severe Storm Potential for the Plains
A tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico is forecast to track southward and away from Florida; However, this system will enhance rainfall potential across South Florida through Friday. Meanwhile, heavy to excessive rainfall and severe thunderstorms are expected for portions of the Plains.
