Tropical Storm and Storm Surge Warnings Issued for Gulf Coast; Severe Thunderstorms Return to the Northern Plains This Weekend

Tropical Storm Cristobal will move over the central Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, and be near the northern Gulf of Mexico coast on Sunday. Warnings have been issued for life-threatening storm surge and tropical storm force winds. Heavy rain and high surf/rip currents are also expected.
