



Excessive Heat to Continue for Washington State; Flooding Impacts Expected in the Southwest U.S.
Excessive heat will continue over portions of central Washington Friday with afternoon temperatures into the 100s. In the Desert Southwest, monsoon activity will continue to generate localized flash flooding impacts in arroyos, slot canyons, and urban areas, as well as rapid rises on rivers, through this weekend.
