Synopsis: A 987 mb low 100 nm southeast of Kodiak City merges with an incoming North Pacific low to form a new 975 mb low 195 nm southeast of Akhiok on Mon morning. This low tracks to 390 nm south of Yakutat at 980 mb by Tue morning. A front extends across the northern Gulf through Mon afternoon.
