Scattered thunderstorms, some severe, will be possible Thursday mainly over southeast Texas. A conditional risk for a few tornadoes will be possible. A series of cold fronts will start to impact areas along and west of the Cascades Thursday with rain for the valleys and snow at many mountain passes.
