Areas of Severe Thunderstorms and Excessive Rainfall in the Plains; Storm on the Southeast Coast

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms are possible across much of the High Plains this afternoon and evening. Excessive rainfall from thunderstorms over the northern High Plains and southern Plains may produce areas of flooding today.
