   AMZ101-151430-  Synopsis for the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas  927 PM EST Wed Jan 14 2026      .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N75W to near the Upper  Florida Keys with fresh to strong winds on either side N of 27N  and W of 70W. A reinforcing front will move off Florida Thu and  will merge with the leading front, reaching from near Bermuda to  the SE Bahamas Fri morning, and extending from 31N59W to 25N70W  Sat morning where it will stall and weaken. Widespread fresh to  strong winds will accompany the front through Fri. Winds are  forecast to reach gale force Thu night east of the front and N of  28N. Another cold front may impact the basin late in the upcoming  weekend.    $$

Seas 5 to 7 ft in W to NW  swell.  THU  W of 78W, SW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to W to NW 25 kt  in the afternoon. E of 78W, SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming W  20 to 30 kt in the afternoon. Seas 6 to 9 ft in W to NW swell.  Scattered tstms.  THU NIGHT  NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 9 to 13 ft in NW to N  swell.  FRI  N winds 10 to 15 kt in the morning, becoming variable less  than 5 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft in NW to N swell.  FRI NIGHT  Variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming SE 10 kt  late. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NW to N swell.  SAT  Variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming NE 10 kt in the  afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 ft.  SAT NIGHT  E winds 10 kt in the evening, becoming variable less  than 5 kt.
