   AMZ101-100345-  Synopsis for the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas  1144 AM EDT Sat May 9 2026      .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends southwestward from southeast of  Bermuda to 30N64W, then continues westward as a stationary front  to beyond northern Florida. Scattered showers and isolated  thunderstorms are lingering near this boundary north of 30N. The  stationary front will gradually weaken tonight and Sun as the  cold front portion shifts eastward and weakens. A stronger cold  front is expected to follow a similar path Mon through Tue,  followed by fresh to locally strong winds and rough seas.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms, some possibly strong to  marginally severe, are possible near second front. Meanwhile, the  subtropical ridge over the western Atlantic will support fresh to  locally strong winds off northern Hispaniola through Mon night.    $$

Seas 2 to  4 ft.  MON  SE to S winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.  MON NIGHT  S winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.  TUE  S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.  TUE NIGHT  W of 72W, W winds 10 kt. E of 72W, SW winds 10 kt in  the evening, becoming variable less than 5 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft in  E to SE swell.  WED  NE winds 10 kt W of 72W, and variable less than 5 kt E of  72W. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NW to N swell.  WED NIGHT  W of 72W, NE to E winds 10 kt in the evening,  becoming variable less than 5 kt. E of 72W, variable winds less  than 5 kt, becoming SE to S 10 kt late.
