   ANZ898-290745-  345 PM EST Wed Jan 28 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure just SE of the  waters will move well out into the N Atlantic tonight through  early Thu. A series of surface troughs then moves SE across the  area through early Sat. Low pressure should rapidly strengthen  and broaden off of the SE U.S. coast Sat and Sat night. The  intense low only gradually moves NE Sat night through Sun  evening, finally approaching Atlantic Canada late Sun night.  Another series of surface troughs will move S across the waters  behind the low Mon and Mon night, with a cold front approaching  the waters late Mon night. Mariners should monitor the forecasts  for Sat and beyond, preparing to execute avoidance plans.    $$
