   ANZ899-280215-  1042 PM EDT Thu Mar 26 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A strong cold front approaches  the N waters tonight and moves through the N and central waters  Fri, stalling over the S waters. Low pressure forms along the  front off of North Carolina Fri and moves NE along the front Fri  night and Sat while gradually strengthening. As the low moves E  of the area Sat, the cold front behind the low will move S and E  of the S waters. High pressure then builds over the area Sat and  Sat night. With high pressure continuing over the S waters  through Tue night, to the N, the high shifts E Sun and a warm  front develops offshore of the mid-Atlantic Sun night. The warm  front will move N of the N waters Mon, being well N of the area  Mon night. A surface trough will be located along and near the  coast of the N and central waters Tue and Tue night.    $$
