NWS Marine Forecast

ANZ898-092000-  322 AM EST Tue Dec 9 2025      .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure will build E  across the waters today. The high will shift E tonight as weak  low pressure develops and moves NE along the Maine coast, pulling  a weak warm front NE across the area. Another warm front will  lift N across the waters Wed ahead of a stronger area of low  pressure moving E into northern New England. A strong cold front  associated with this system will sweep E and SE over the area  Wed night into Thu, followed by a secondary cold front or low  pressure trough Thu night into Fri. High pressure to the S will  build E and extend a ridge across the waters Fri night into Sat.  Another trough will cross the area Sat as the ridge shifts E and  weakens. During Sat night, developing low pressure with a warm  front extending E from the low will approach from the SW. A cold  front will approach the coast from the W late Sat night.    $$
