   ANZ899-021445-  923 PM EST Thu Jan 1 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...As low pressure moves E just N of  the waters, a trailing cold front pushing through the N and  central waters will move into the S waters before passing E of  the area later tonight. A secondary cold front develops Fri and  and moves into the S waters Fri night before stalling. On Sat and  Sat night, low pressure will move off of the SE U.S. coast along  the front, moving ENE Sat night and Sun while strengthening. The  low will then pass to the NE of the area by Sun night. A cold  front extending SW from the low will move well E of the S waters  Sun night. A secondary cold front may move S over the N and  central waters Sun and Sun night, stalling Mon. High pressure  builds to the coast Mon, then shifts E Mon night. A surface  trough develops off the SE coast Mon night, then tracks E and NE  across the waters Tue and Tue night.    $$
