   GMZ001-061515-  Synopsis for the Gulf of America  1005 PM EST Fri Dec 5 2025      .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from near Cedar Key, Florida to  26N90W, then becomes nearly stationary to near Veracruz, Mexico.  Moderate or weaker winds and moderate seas prevail across the  basin and these marine conditions will persist into Sun. Looking  ahead, a new cold front is expected to enter the northwestern Gulf  Sun evening and sweep over the basin into early next week,  leading to fresh to strong N to NW winds and building seas in the  wake of the front. Gale-force NW-N winds may develop off Veracruz  Mon afternoon and evening. Winds and seas will diminish Tue into  Wed as the front stalls across the NW Caribbean and W Cuba.    $$

Seas 3 to 5 ft in E swell.  SAT  N winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NE to E early in the  afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Scattered showers.  SAT NIGHT  SE winds 10 kt, shifting to S to SW late.  Seas 3 ft or less. Scattered showers.  SUN  W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft or less. Scattered showers.  SUN NIGHT  N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to  6 to 8 ft late.  MON  N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft in NW to N  swell.  MON NIGHT  N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft in N to NE  swell.  TUE  N to NE winds 10 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NE swell.  TUE NIGHT  W of 92W, variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming S  10 kt late. E of 92W, NE winds 10 kt early in the  evening, becoming variable less than 5 kt.
