A trough along the California  coast will persist through Thu and weaken Thu night. A weak area  of low pressure is expected to develop over the central waters  and slowly move W Fri into Fri night. High pressure builds back  into the waters Sat into Sun night. A weak low may form over the  far N California waters Sun, then move N Sun night.    $$
