PZZ899-190415-  743 AM PST Wed Feb 18 2026      .SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A cold front will continue  moving S through the southern waters today before moving S of  the area this afternoon. An area of low pressure will move  quickly SE across the central waters tonight, then push inland  early Thu. The associated cold front will move S across the  southern waters Thu, then move S of the area Thu night. A ridge  will build across the waters Thu night, then shift S Fri into Fri  night as a warm front moves E into the northern waters. A  complex low pressure will intensify well NW of the area Fri night  into Sat, then remain nearly stationary through Sun night. The  low will drive a cold front E into the northern waters Sat. The  front will then stall over the northern waters, oriented S to N,  through Sun night, as smaller embedded areas of low pressure ride  N along the front. Meanwhile, high pressure will persist across  the southern waters. Please continue monitoring the latest  forecasts for a potentially highly impactful low to affect the  waters this weekend. The Point Reyes NAVTEX transmitter is  inoperative, technicians are aware and troubleshooting.    $$
