The ridge will weaken and  drift SE across the northern waters Wed, then dissipate Wed  night. A low will form SW of the area Wed, then track slowly N  through the central waters late Wed into Wed night and Thu before  dissipating along the central California coast Thu. A cold front  will move into the area from the W Thu night. Low pressure will  develop along the front near or just N of the northern waters  Fri, then lift N away from the area Fri night.    $$
