...GUSTY WINDS OUT AHEAD OF INCOMING THUNDERSTORMS...
At 737 PM CDT, radar indicated a line of storms from near Black
River Falls Wisconsin, southwest to about Canton-Mabel in southeast
Minnesota. Automated weather observations reported wind gusts of 30
to 40 mph further east ahead of the storms. Movement was east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, torrential brief rains, and
isolated hail to one-half inch.
SOURCE...Automated weather observations and radar.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Sparta, Tomah, Stoddard, Coon Valley, and Brownsville around 745
PM CDT.
Cashton and New Albin around 805 PM CDT.
Westby around 815 PM CDT.
Viroqua around 830 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Jersey Valley
County Park, North Side Of La Crosse, Camp Decorah, South Side Of La
Crosse, Stevenstown, Quandahl, Riceford, and Rockland.

Interstate 94 between mile markers 138 and 147.
Interstate 90/94 between mile markers 46 and 47.
Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 261 and 276.
Interstate 90 in Wisconsin between mile markers 1 and 45.
