At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pleasant Hill to East Lynne to 8 miles east of Adrian. Movement was northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Warrensburg, Harrisonville, Clinton, Pleasant Hill, Odessa, Peculiar, Butler, Holden, Adrian, Garden City, Archie, Lone Jack, Leeton, Urich, Deepwater, Montrose, Creighton, Chilhowee, East Lynne, and Kingsville. This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 38 and 48. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
