At 209 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of strong
thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. The
line of thunderstorm was located near Madison Connecticut to near
Mattituck Long Island New York, moving east at 15 knots.
Locations impacted include...
Horton Point, Madison Reef, Gardiners Bay, The Race, Mattituck Inlet,
Shelter Island, Dering Harbor, Western Block Island Sound, Plum
Island, and Stonington.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
