Update...Updated to include the Rogers, War Eagle, and Clifty Tornadoes .Overview...NWS Tulsa meteorologists surveyed storm damage for the past four days, from mainly one long-track supercell that intensified over Noble County, Oklahoma, moved eastward across Tulsa, Rogers, Mayes, Delaware, Benton, and Carroll Counties during the late evening of 5/25 and early morning of 5/26. This supercell produced at least eleven tornadoes (detailed below) in the NWS Tulsa service area, as well as extensive straight-line wind damage associated with its rear flank downdraft. Some of this straight-line wind damage was especially intense along the storm`s track, producing extensive damage in the 80 to 100 mph range that was several miles wide in some areas. This damage occurred to the south of the tornado tracks, and was particulary noted along the tracks of the Claremore/Pryor tornado at times, near Colcord through the south side of the Decatur 1 tornado, along the southside of the Rogers tornado, from southern Rogers and Lowell into the War Eagle and Clifty areas. This extensive and intense straight-line wind damage made surveying this supercell`s tornadoes very complicated, and the aggressive rear flank downdraft resulted in some atypical tornado tracks. .CLAREMORE / PRYOR OKLAHOMA TORNADO...
