At 425 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Burgess, or 9 miles southeast of Hertford, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, penny size hail, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.
