Another hot and humid day today with highs in the low 90s and
heat indices in the mid to upper 90s.

There`s about a 15-30% chance of seeing isolated showers and
storms this afternoon and evening, but most areas will stay dry.
The strongest storms may produce gusty, non-severe winds.

For tonight, lows will drop into the upper 60s to low 70s.

.LONG TERM /MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...

Precip Potential: Sunday looks dry but every other day through
the long term has 15-30% PoPs as a warm, humid airmass stays in
place. No focus for organized severe weather has been
identified at this time.

Temperatures/Heat: Sunday and Monday will see highs in the low
to mid 90s and heat index values in the mid to upper 90s, but
overnight lows in the low 70s will bring some relief. Tuesday
through Thursday will see highs in the 80s and heat index values
in the mid 80s to low 90s, along with overnight lows in the 60s.
Heat returns Friday into next weekend with highs in the low 90s
and heat index values in the mid to upper 90s. Overnight lows
late in the week will be in the upper 60s to low 70s, which
limits overall heat concerns some.

VFR conditions will prevail through the entire TAF period. SW`ly
winds will pick up a bit today after 18Z with speeds at 10-15
kts and gusts up to 20-25 kts, especially at SGF and JLN.
Cumulus clouds at 5 kft will also likely develop at this time.
Otherwise, skies will be mostly clear with a few high clouds.

There is a very low chance (<15%) that an isolated shower or
thunderstorm could develop, especially near SGF and BBG.
Confidence is too low to mention in the TAFs as a PROB30 at this
time.
