168 FZUS52 KTAE 231714 SRFTAE Surf Zone Forecast National Weather Service Tallahassee FL 114 PM EDT Sun Jun 23 2024 .THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK... With long period swells still impacting the local beaches from Alberto, and the current tropical disturbance in the Bay of Campeche, expect a high risk for rip currents to continue through Tuesday. These swells are also accompanied by 2-3 foot surf heights, which are only adding to the dangerous rip current threat at all beaches this weekend and the during the early portion of the work week. Beach goers should take note of all beach flags before stepping foot in the water. Bay County beaches are now flying Double Red flags, which means the water is closed. All beach goers at Bay county should remain out of the water if heading to the beach.
