Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop generally east-northeastward overnight across the region, with the strongest storms capable of damaging winds and large hail. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles north of Sioux City IA to 50 miles east northeast of La Crosse WI.
