...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
  county, southwestern Torrance.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
  crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It
  will take several hours for all the water from these storms to
  work through local drainage systems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 807 PM MDT, the New Mexico Department of Transportation
    reported ongoing flooding across the warned area. Between 4
    and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Highway 42 is closed due to
    flooding between Willard and Corona.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mountainair and Willard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
