...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central New Mexico, including the
  following county, southeastern Sandoval.

* WHEN...Until 545 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 351 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Northeastern Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Coronado State Monument,
    Enchanted Hills, Santa Ana Pueblo and Placitas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
