Gusty and erratic winds are expected near isolated dry showers and storms that will favor the high terrain this afternoon. The coverage of storms will expand tomorrow, with a mix of wet and dry storms around the state. Increasing moisture from the east will help RH recoveries improve late week into the weekend as precipitation chances trend higher. High temperatures today will approach record levels today and tomorrow, with moderate to high heat risk below 9,000 feet. Temperatures will trend cooler early next week, dropping below seasonal averages by Monday. Critical fire weather conditions are not expected the next several days.
