.DISCUSSION...A rich tap of moisture will continue spreading into NM through
Friday. After favoring areas along and east of the central mountain chain today,
showers and storms are expected to favor central and western New Mexico on
Thursday. Wetting rain likely to be spotty near the Gonzales Fire during
daytime Thursday, however, with lightning and gusty/erratic wind concerns.
A second round of potentially more widespread rainfall is expected to move over
the area Thursday evening through Friday.
