Hot temperatures will cool this evening with overnight lows expected to drop towards 60 degrees. Moderately breezy conditions will be slow to reduce in speed, but after midnight they should be down to about 6 to 10 mph out of the west. Mid level moisture will be working into northwestern New Mexico, and a few sprinkles cannot be ruled out overnight. The better chances for showers and thunderstorms will arrive Friday when a Pacific disturbance crosses north of the area. Breezy west northwest winds will prevail Friday, and any passing showers or thunderstorms will create abrupt and erratic gusts. .TONIGHT... Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy with a few sprinkles possible, mainly after midnight. Chance of Pcpn......10 percent. Min Temperature.....57-61. Max Humidity........47-51 percent. 20 Foot Winds.......West at 8 to 12 mph with occasional gusts to 16 mph, reducing to 6 to 10 mph after midnight.
