.DISCUSSION...
Hot temperatures will cool this evening with overnight lows expected
to drop towards 60 degrees. Moderately breezy conditions will be
slow to reduce in speed, but after midnight they should be down to
about 6 to 10 mph out of the west. Mid level moisture will be working
into northwestern New Mexico, and a few sprinkles cannot be ruled
out overnight. The better chances for showers and thunderstorms will
arrive Friday when a Pacific disturbance crosses north of the area.
Breezy west northwest winds will prevail Friday, and any passing
showers or thunderstorms will create abrupt and erratic gusts.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy with a few sprinkles possible,
                    mainly after midnight.
Chance of Pcpn......10 percent.
Min Temperature.....57-61.
Max Humidity........47-51 percent.
20 Foot Winds.......West at 8 to 12 mph with occasional gusts to 16
                    mph, reducing to 6 to 10 mph after midnight.
Ventilation Trend...Very good/139500 knot-ft by early evening and
                    poor/0 knot-ft by late evening.

.FRIDAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy. Slight chance of rain showers in
                    the morning, then chance of showers and
                    thunderstorms in the afternoon. Expected rain
                    amounts will be 0.10 of an inch or less with storms
                    moving from southwest to northeast at 15 to 25 mph.
Chance of Pcpn......40 percent.
Max Temperature.....73-77.
Min Humidity........32-36 percent.
20 Foot Winds.......West northwest winds 8 to 14 mph with occasional
                    gusts to 24 mph. Gusty and erratic winds expected
                    near thunderstorms, especially in the late morning
                    and into the afternoon.

Max Vent Rate.......Fair/56744 knot-ft at 1300 local.
