Rich monsoon moisture is in place, and more unstable conditions this afternoon are expected to lead to more numerous thunderstorms with higher rainfall rates. Flash flooding will be possible, so a Flash Flood Watch has been issued for northern New Mexico, primarily for the afternoon through evening hours. Excellent humidity recovery is expected tonight. Not as many storms are forecast for the weekend, but storms will tend to move slower by then which will keep a threat for locally heavy rainfall. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then numerous thunderstorms and rain showers in the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall is possible with flash flooding possible. Storms will drift from southwest to northeast at 15 to 20 mph. Chance of Pcpn......60 percent. Max Temperature.....69-73.
