...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LOS ALAMOS...CENTRAL RIO
ARRIBA...NORTHEASTERN SANDOVAL AND NORTHWESTERN SANTA FE COUNTIES
THROUGH 500 PM MDT...

At 425 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles northeast of Heron Lake State Park to
near Fenton Lake State Park. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Los Alamos, Espanola, Chama, Cuba, Dulce, Tierra Amarilla, White
Rock, Jemez Springs, Canon Plaza, and Santa Clara Pueblo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
