...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL AND
NORTHEASTERN GUADALUPE COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM MDT...

At 125 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pastura, or 12 miles southwest of Santa Rosa, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Santa Rosa, Colonias, Pastura, Puerto De Luna, Newkirk, Santa Rosa
Lake State Park, and Cuervo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility, strong
crosswinds along Interstate 40, and ponding of water on highways as
storms move through the area.
