...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT BERNALILLO COUNTY THROUGH 600 PM
MDT...

At 531 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
northeastern Albuquerque. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Albuquerque, Corrales, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, Sandia Heights,
North Valley, South Valley, Alameda, and Carnuel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
