...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL COLFAX COUNTY THROUGH
345 PM MDT...

At 316 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Maxwell, or 15 miles north of Springer, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Maxwell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and
hazardous driving conditions.
