...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HARDING AND WEST
CENTRAL UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM MDT...
At 126 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bueyeros, or 18 miles northeast of Mosquero, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bueyeros and Yates.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
