...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LINCOLN AND
NORTHWESTERN CHAVES COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 445 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 23
miles north of Arabela, or 35 miles southeast of Corona, moving east
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Lincoln and northwestern Chaves Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on highways as storms move through the area.
