...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SANDOVAL COUNTY
THROUGH 145 AM MDT...
At 116 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Torreon, or 18 miles northwest of Rio Rancho, moving northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
San Ysidro, Zia Pueblo, Jemez Pueblo, Canon, and Ponderosa.
