...STRONG COLD FRONT WILL IMPACT VALENCIA...BERNALILLO...NORTHERN
SOCORRO...SOUTHWESTERN SANDOVAL...EASTERN CIBOLA AND EAST CENTRAL
MCKINLEY COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM MDT...

At 439 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong cold front
entering western Bernalillo and Valencia counties, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, blowing dust, and sharply falling
temperatures.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Bernalillo, Belen, Laguna
  Pueblo, Valencia, Corrales, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque and Bosque
  Farms.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 115 and 173.
Highway 550 between Mile Markers 1 and 24...and
near Mile Marker 27.
Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 187 and 242.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
