...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LOS ALAMOS...SOUTH
CENTRAL RIO ARRIBA...NORTHEASTERN SANDOVAL AND NORTHWESTERN SANTA FE
COUNTIES UNTIL 145 PM MDT...

At 122 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles north of Los Alamos, moving north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Los Alamos, Espanola, Abiquiu, Chili, Medanales, Hernandez,
  Chamita and Buena Vista.

This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 337 and 348.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
