...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CHAVES COUNTY
THROUGH 1045 PM MDT...

At 1006 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 20 miles north of Roswell
to 14 miles north of Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge to Elkins. Movement
was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elkins.
