* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern De Baca County in east central New Mexico...
  North Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...

* Until 445 PM MDT.

* At 339 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles south of
  Mesa, or 28 miles north of Roswell, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Southeastern De Baca and North Central
  Chaves Counties.

This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 129 and 146.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
