.DISCUSSION...

Another frontal boundary will progress through the region today.
Strong to severe thunderstorms may develop as soon as this morning
and possibly again late this afternoon across the east. Confidence
is low in intensity and placement. Minimum relative humidity will
fall to 25 to 45 percent with the lowest relative humidity behind
the front in north central South Dakota.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Thursday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
