The area will see another day of very warm temperatures and dry conditions. Southerly winds will become stronger by late morning through this afternoon and evening with gusts between 25 to 35 mph. Daytime temperatures will warm into the 80s for most locations with low 90s along and west of the Missouri Valley. Some drier air will work into locales west river where relative humidity values will bottom out between 25 to 35 percent. Rain chances increase tonight into Wednesday. By Wednesday afternoon, much drier air will move into central South Dakota allowing for minimum relative humidity values to bottom out between 20 to 25 percent. Very poor weather conditions and very low moisture content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that dangerous burning conditions exist.
